Slice the round steak into serving-sized pieces.
Season the flour with salt and pepper, then dredge the steak in the mixture.
Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Brown the steak pieces on both sides, about 4-5 minutes per side.
Remove the steak and set aside.
In the same skillet, sauté sliced onions until translucent.
Add minced garlic and cook for an additional minute.
Pour in diced tomatoes and beef broth, stirring to combine.
Return the steak to the skillet and add Worcestershire sauce.
Cover and simmer on low heat for 1.5 hours, until the meat is tender.
