Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 cup sliced onions
  • 1 cup sliced mushrooms
  • 2 tbsp flour
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

Instructions

  • In a bowl, mix ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  • Shape the mixture into 4 oval patties.
  • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  • Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side until browned.
  • Remove patties and set aside; keep warm.
  • In the same skillet, add sliced onions and mushrooms, sauté until soft.
  • Sprinkle flour over the vegetables and stir to combine.
  • Gradually pour in beef broth and whisk until smooth.
  • Add Worcestershire sauce and bring to a simmer.
  • Return the patties to the skillet, cover, and cook for an additional 10 minutes.
