  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large bowl, combine pumpkin puree, brown sugar, and granulated sugar.
  • Add melted butter and mix well.
  • Beat in the egg and vanilla extract until smooth.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
  • Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until combined.
  • Fold in the chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
  • Drop tablespoons of dough onto a lined baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
  • Bake for 12-15 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden.
  • Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
