Ingredients

  • 8 oz Chow Mein noodles
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 cup bean sprouts
  • 1 cup shredded cabbage
  • 1/2 cup sliced carrots
  • 1/4 cup green onions chopped
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

Instructions

  • Cook the Chow Mein noodles according to package instructions, then drain and set aside.
  • Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
  • Add the sliced carrots and stir-fry for 2 minutes.
  • Stir in the shredded cabbage and cook for another 2 minutes until slightly softened.
  • Add the bean sprouts and cook for 1 more minute.
  • Push vegetables to one side of the skillet and add the cooked noodles to the other side.
  • Pour the soy sauce, oyster sauce, and sesame oil over the noodles.
  • Sprinkle the garlic powder and mix everything together thoroughly.
  • Toss in the chopped green onions and stir-fry for an additional minute.
