Wash the green beans and baby potatoes thoroughly under cold water.
Trim the ends of the green beans and halve the baby potatoes.
In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil.
Add the baby potatoes and cook for 10 minutes.
After 10 minutes, add the green beans to the pot.
Cook both vegetables for an additional 5-7 minutes until tender.
Drain the vegetables and return them to the pot.
In a small skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
Pour the garlic oil over the vegetables, season with salt and pepper, and toss gently.
