Ingredients

  • 1 lb steak sirloin or ribeye, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon fresh thyme chopped
  • 1 teaspoon fresh parsley chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: red pepper flakes for heat

Instructions

  • Cut the steak into bite-sized pieces and pat them dry with paper towels.
  • Season the steak bites generously with salt and pepper.
  • In a large skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium-high heat.
  • Add the steak bites in a single layer and sear for 2-3 minutes.
  • Flip the steak bites and cook for another 2-3 minutes for medium-rare.
  • Remove the steak bites from the skillet and set aside.
  • In the same skillet, add the remaining butter and minced garlic. Sauté until fragrant.
  • Return the steak bites to the skillet, adding thyme and parsley, and toss to coat.
  • Serve immediately, garnished with additional herbs if desired.
