Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked chicken shredded
  • 9 lasagna noodles
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 2 cups mozzarella cheese shredded
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese grated
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh basil for garnish

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Cook the lasagna noodles according to package instructions until al dente.
  • In a bowl, mix ricotta cheese, egg, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  • Spread a thin layer of marinara sauce on the bottom of a baking dish.
  • Layer 3 lasagna noodles over the marinara sauce.
  • Spread half of the ricotta mixture over the noodles.
  • Add half of the shredded chicken on top of the ricotta.
  • Pour a layer of marinara sauce over the chicken.
  • Sprinkle 1 cup of mozzarella cheese over the sauce.
  • Repeat the layers, finishing with noodles, marinara, and remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
  • Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes, then remove foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes until bubbly and golden.
