Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a large bowl, combine the blueberries, sugar, cornstarch, lemon juice, vanilla extract, and salt.
Gently mix until the blueberries are well-coated.
Place the pie crust in a 9-inch pie dish.
Pour the blueberry mixture into the pie crust.
Add small pieces of butter on top of the blueberries.
Cover the pie with a second crust or create a lattice top.
Seal the edges of the crust and cut slits for steam to escape.
Bake in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes until the crust is golden brown.
Let the pie cool for at least 2 hours before serving.
