Gradually add flour, one cup at a time, mixing until a dough forms.
Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 8-10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a cloth, and let rise in a warm place for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
Punch down the dough and shape it into a loaf.
Place the shaped dough in a greased loaf pan.
Cover the pan and let it rise for another 30 minutes.
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
Bake for 30-35 minutes until golden brown and the loaf sounds hollow when tapped.
