Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup tahini
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 garlic clove minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt to taste
  • Optional: cumin or paprika for flavor

Instructions

  • In a mixing bowl, add 1/2 cup of tahini.
  • Slowly add 1/4 cup of water while whisking to combine.
  • Add 2 tablespoons of freshly squeezed lemon juice.
  • Incorporate 1 minced garlic clove into the mixture.
  • Drizzle in 1 tablespoon of olive oil.
  • Season with salt to taste.
  • For added flavor, mix in a pinch of cumin or paprika.
  • Continue whisking until the sauce is smooth and creamy.
  • If too thick, add a bit more water to reach your desired consistency.
  • Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary.
