Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef or turkey
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 1 can refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 1 cup shredded cheese
  • 1 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup diced onion
  • 1/2 cup sliced olives
  • Fresh cilantro for garnish
  • Sour cream for serving

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef or turkey until cooked thoroughly.
  • Drain any excess fat from the meat.
  • Add taco seasoning and a splash of water to the meat, stirring to combine.
  • Roll out the crescent roll dough on a baking sheet, forming a ring shape.
  • Place the cooked meat mixture in the center of the dough ring.
  • Sprinkle shredded cheese over the meat.
  • Fold the dough over the filling, pinching to seal.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
  • Let it cool slightly, then garnish with diced tomatoes, onions, olives, and fresh cilantro.
