Ingredients

  • 4 slices of thick bread like brioche or challah
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup fruit preserves
  • Butter for frying
  • Maple syrup for serving

Instructions

  • Mix cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth.
  • Spread the cream cheese mixture on two slices of bread.
  • Add a layer of fruit preserves on top of the cream cheese.
  • Place the other two slices of bread on top to create a sandwich.
