Ingredients

  • Tortilla chips
  • Shredded cheddar cheese
  • Ground beef or chicken
  • Black beans drained and rinsed
  • Jalapeños sliced
  • Diced tomatoes
  • Salsa
  • Sour cream
  • Guacamole
  • Chopped green onions

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • In a skillet, cook the ground beef or chicken until browned; drain excess fat.
  • Add black beans and salsa to the meat; stir to combine.
  • Line a large sheet pan with tortilla chips.
  • Spread the meat and bean mixture evenly over the chips.
  • Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese generously across the top.
  • Add sliced jalapeños for an extra kick.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 15 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly.
  • Remove from the oven and top with diced tomatoes and chopped green onions.
