Ingredients

  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 1 cup asparagus cut into 2-inch pieces
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes halved
  • 1 lemon sliced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh herbs e.g., thyme, basil

Instructions

  • Prepare all vegetables by washing and cutting them into bite-sized pieces.
  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  • Add minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  • Introduce broccoli florets to the skillet and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes.
  • Add asparagus pieces and continue to cook for another 3 minutes.
  • Incorporate halved cherry tomatoes and stir well.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Cook for an additional 5 minutes until all vegetables are tender yet crisp.
  • Remove from heat and add lemon slices and fresh herbs.
  • Toss everything gently and serve hot.
