Ingredients

  • 1 can 14.75 oz wild-caught salmon, drained and flaked
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley chopped
  • 1 egg beaten
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil for frying

Instructions

  • In a large bowl, combine the flaked salmon, breadcrumbs, chopped onion, and parsley.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together the beaten egg, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  • Pour the egg mixture into the salmon mixture and stir until combined.
  • Form the mixture into patties, about 2 inches in diameter.
  • Heat a skillet over medium heat and add olive oil.
  • Once the oil is hot, carefully place the patties in the skillet.
  • Cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  • Remove the patties and drain on paper towels to absorb excess oil.
  • Serve with your favorite dipping sauce or salad.
