Ingredients

  • 1 can 15 oz chickpeas, drained and rinsed
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin
  • Optional: cayenne pepper for heat

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Drain and rinse the chickpeas under cold water.
  • Pat the chickpeas dry with a kitchen towel.
  • Spread the chickpeas on a baking sheet in a single layer.
  • Drizzle olive oil over the chickpeas.
  • Sprinkle salt, paprika, garlic powder, and cumin on top.
  • Toss the chickpeas to ensure they are evenly coated.
  • Roast in the oven for 30-40 minutes, stirring halfway through.
  • Check for crispiness; they should be golden brown.
  • Remove from the oven and let cool before serving.
