Ingredients

  • 1 package of cheese ravioli about 25 oz
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh basil for garnish

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil and cook the ravioli according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the ricotta cheese, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  • Spread a thin layer of marinara sauce on the bottom of a 9x13 inch baking dish.
  • Layer half of the cooked ravioli over the sauce.
  • Spoon half of the ricotta mixture over the ravioli.
  • Sprinkle one cup of mozzarella cheese on top.
  • Repeat the layers with the remaining ravioli, ricotta mixture, and marinara sauce.
  • Top with the remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
  • Cover with foil and bake for 20 minutes, then remove foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes until golden and bubbly.
