Ingredients

  • 1 cup brewed espresso or strong coffee
  • 1 cup milk or a non-dairy alternative
  • 2 tablespoons pumpkin puree
  • 2 tablespoons sugar or sweetener of choice
  • 1/2 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Whipped cream for topping
  • Ground cinnamon for garnish

Instructions

  • Brew one cup of strong espresso or coffee.
  • In a saucepan, combine the pumpkin puree, sugar, and pumpkin pie spice.
  • Heat the mixture over medium heat until warm, stirring continuously.
  • Add the brewed espresso to the saucepan and mix well.
  • In another pot, steam the milk until frothy.
  • Slowly pour the steamed milk into the pumpkin-espresso mixture.
  • Stir in the vanilla extract.
  • Taste and adjust sweetness if necessary.
  • Pour into mugs and top with whipped cream.
  • Sprinkle with ground cinnamon for garnish.
