Wash and chop the cauliflower into florets.
Steam the cauliflower for about 10-15 minutes until tender.
In a separate pan, melt the butter or heat the olive oil.
Add minced garlic to the pan and sauté for about 1 minute.
Transfer the steamed cauliflower to a mixing bowl or food processor.
Pour in the sautéed garlic and butter/oil mixture.
Add heavy cream or milk to the bowl.
Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Blend or mash until smooth.
Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary, then serve warm.
