Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Separate the egg yolks from the whites.
In a bowl, beat the egg yolks with half the sugar until pale and thick.
In another bowl, whip the egg whites with the remaining sugar until stiff peaks form.
Fold the egg whites gently into the yolk mixture.
Gradually sift in the flour and salt, folding carefully to retain air.
Transfer the batter to a piping bag and pipe 3-inch long strips onto the baking sheet.
Bake for 10-15 minutes until lightly golden.
Allow them to cool completely before dusting with powdered sugar.
