In a large pot, brown the ground beef over medium heat until fully cooked.
Add chopped onions and minced garlic to the pot, cooking until softened.
Stir in diced carrots and potatoes, cooking for 5 minutes.
Pour in the beef broth and bring to a boil.
Reduce heat and add diced tomatoes, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper.
Simmer for 20 minutes, or until vegetables are tender.
Stir in frozen peas and cook for an additional 5 minutes.
Taste and adjust seasoning as needed.
Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
Serve hot, garnished with fresh herbs if desired.
