Ingredients

  • 6 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon mustard
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Orange food coloring
  • Black decorating gel
  • Optional: paprika for garnish

Instructions

  • Place eggs in a saucepan and cover with cold water.
  • Bring the water to a boil over medium heat.
  • Once boiling, cover the pan and remove from heat. Let sit for 12 minutes.
  • Transfer eggs to an ice bath to cool for 5 minutes.
  • Peel the eggs and slice them in half lengthwise.
  • Remove yolks and place them in a bowl.
  • Mash yolks with mayonnaise, mustard, salt, and pepper.
  • Add orange food coloring to the yolk mixture until desired color is achieved.
  • Spoon or pipe the yolk mixture back into the egg whites.
  • Use black decorating gel to draw spider webs on top.
