Ingredients

  • 200 g halloumi cheese
  • 2 cups mixed salad greens
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes halved
  • 1 cucumber sliced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh herbs for garnish

Instructions

  • Slice the halloumi cheese into thick pieces.
  • Preheat a grill or skillet over medium heat.
  • Drizzle olive oil on the grill to prevent sticking.
  • Grill the halloumi slices for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  • Prepare the salad greens in a large bowl.
  • Add cherry tomatoes and cucumber slices to the bowl.
  • Cut grilled halloumi into smaller pieces and add to the salad.
  • Drizzle olive oil and balsamic vinegar over the salad.
  • Toss gently and season with salt and pepper.
  • Garnish with fresh herbs before serving.
