Ingredients

  • 1 whole fish trout or sea bass, cleaned and scaled
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 lemon sliced
  • Fresh herbs parsley, dill, or thyme
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Vegetables for grilling bell peppers, zucchini, or asparagus

Instructions

  • Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
  • Rinse the fish under cold water and pat dry with paper towels.
  • Make three diagonal slits on each side of the fish.
  • Rub the fish inside and out with olive oil, salt, and pepper.
  • Stuff the cavity of the fish with minced garlic and fresh herbs.
  • Place lemon slices inside and outside the fish.
  • Brush the grill grates with oil to prevent sticking.
  • Place the fish on the grill and cook for 5-7 minutes on each side.
  • Use a spatula to carefully flip the fish halfway through.
  • Once cooked, remove the fish from the grill and let it rest for a few minutes before serving.
