Ingredients

  • 1 box German chocolate cake mix
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 can 14 oz sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 cup shredded coconut
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 1 cup chocolate frosting
  • Whipped cream for topping

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Grease and flour a 9x13 inch baking pan.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the cake mix, water, vegetable oil, and eggs.
  • Mix until well combined and smooth.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan.
  • Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  • Allow the cake to cool for about 10 minutes.
  • Poke holes all over the cake using the end of a wooden spoon.
  • Mix sweetened condensed milk with shredded coconut and pecans, then pour over the cake.
  • Cool completely, frost with chocolate frosting, and top with whipped cream.
