Ingredients

  • 1 lb beef roast such as chuck or brisket
  • 12 slider buns
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 onion thinly sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • Olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh herbs optional, for garnish

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Season the beef roast with salt and pepper.
  • In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat.
  • Sear the beef on all sides until browned.
  • Remove the beef and set it aside.
  • In the same skillet, sauté the onions and garlic until translucent.
  • Add the Worcestershire sauce and beef broth to the skillet.
  • Return the beef to the skillet, cover, and simmer for 1 hour.
  • Shred the beef using two forks and mix it with the broth.
  • Place the shredded beef on slider buns, top with cheese, and bake until the cheese is melted.
