Ingredients

  • 500 g all-purpose flour
  • 10 g salt
  • 7 g instant yeast
  • 350 ml warm water
  • 50 ml olive oil
  • Fresh herbs rosemary, thyme
  • Sea salt for topping

Instructions

  • In a large bowl, combine flour and salt.
  • In a separate bowl, mix warm water and yeast, letting it sit for 5 minutes.
  • Add the yeast mixture and olive oil to the flour.
  • Knead the dough for about 10 minutes until smooth.
  • Place the dough in a greased bowl and cover it with a damp cloth.
  • Let it rise in a warm place for 1 hour, or until doubled in size.
  • Preheat your oven to 220°C (430°F).
  • Transfer the dough to a lined baking tray and stretch it out gently.
  • Using your fingers, create dimples in the dough.
  • Drizzle with olive oil, sprinkle with herbs and sea salt.
  • Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
  • Allow it to cool slightly before slicing and serving.
