Ingredients

  • 1.5 lbs flank steak
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons red wine vinegar
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Fresh herbs for garnish

Instructions

  • Marinate the flank steak in a mixture of soy sauce, olive oil, red wine vinegar, garlic, brown sugar, black pepper, salt, and paprika for at least 30 minutes.
  • Preheat your grill or skillet to medium-high heat.
  • Remove the steak from the marinade and let it come to room temperature.
  • Lightly oil the grill grates or skillet to prevent sticking.
  • Place the steak on the grill and cook for about 5-7 minutes on one side.
  • Flip the steak and cook for another 5-7 minutes for medium-rare.
  • Check the internal temperature (130°F for medium-rare).
  • Remove the steak from heat and let it rest for 5 minutes.
  • Slice the steak against the grain into thin strips.
  • Garnish with fresh herbs and serve immediately.
