Ingredients

  • 1 lb white fish cod, tilapia, or mahi-mahi
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 8 corn tortillas
  • 1 cup shredded cabbage
  • 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro chopped
  • 1 lime cut into wedges
  • Optional: avocado slices and hot sauce

Instructions

  • Preheat your grill or skillet over medium-high heat.
  • In a bowl, mix olive oil, smoked paprika, cumin, salt, and pepper.
  • Coat the fish fillets with the spice mixture.
  • Place the fish on the grill or skillet and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side until flaky.
  • While the fish cooks, warm the corn tortillas on another skillet for about 30 seconds each side.
  • Once cooked, remove the fish and let it rest for a minute.
  • Flake the fish into bite-sized pieces.
  • Assemble the tacos by placing fish on the tortillas.
  • Add shredded cabbage, diced tomatoes, and cilantro on top.
  • Serve with lime wedges and optional avocado slices or hot sauce.
