  • 1/4 cup honey optional
  • 1 lemon sliced
  • 1/2 cup elderberries optional

Instructions

  • Gather all ingredients and tools, including a large jar with a tight-fitting lid.
  • Peel and grate the horseradish, ginger, and turmeric.
  • Chop the onion and garlic finely.
  • Slice the chili peppers into small pieces.
  • In the jar, combine all the prepared ingredients.
  • Pour the apple cider vinegar over the mixture, ensuring everything is submerged.
  • Seal the jar tightly and shake it well to mix all the ingredients.
  • Place the jar in a cool, dark place to steep for 1-2 weeks, shaking it daily.
  • After steeping, strain the mixture using a fine mesh strainer or cheesecloth.
  • Add honey to taste if desired, and transfer the liquid into a clean jar.
