Ingredients

  • 1 box of cake mix
  • 1 cup frosting
  • Candy melts various colors
  • Sprinkles assorted colors
  • Lollipop sticks
  • Styrofoam block

Instructions

  • Prepare the cake mix according to package instructions and bake in a 9x13 inch pan.
  • Allow the cake to cool completely before crumbling it into a large bowl.
  • Add frosting to the crumbled cake, mixing until well combined.
  • Form the mixture into small balls, about 1 inch in diameter.
  • Place the formed balls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Insert lollipop sticks into each cake ball.
  • Freeze the cake pops for about 30 minutes to firm them up.
  • Melt the candy melts in a microwave-safe bowl, stirring until smooth.
  • Dip each cake pop into the melted candy, ensuring it's fully coated.
  • Sprinkle with your choice of sprinkles while the coating is still wet.
  • Place the pops upright in a Styrofoam block to dry completely.
