Ingredients

  • 1 lb lump crab meat
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
  • 1/4 cup chopped parsley
  • 1 egg beaten
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a large bowl, combine the crab meat, breadcrumbs, and chopped onion.
  • In a separate bowl, mix the mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, Old Bay seasoning, and beaten egg.
  • Pour the wet mixture into the crab mixture and gently fold to combine.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Form the mixture into patties, about 1 inch thick.
  • Heat a skillet over medium heat and add a little oil.
  • Cook the crab cakes for about 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  • Transfer the cooked cakes to a baking sheet and bake for an additional 5-10 minutes.
  • Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
