Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a large bowl, combine the crab meat, breadcrumbs, and chopped onion.
In a separate bowl, mix the mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, Old Bay seasoning, and beaten egg.
Pour the wet mixture into the crab mixture and gently fold to combine.
Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Form the mixture into patties, about 1 inch thick.
Heat a skillet over medium heat and add a little oil.
Cook the crab cakes for about 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown.
Transfer the cooked cakes to a baking sheet and bake for an additional 5-10 minutes.
Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
