Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter cold and cubed
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 egg for egg wash

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar, and salt.
  • Add cold butter and mix until crumbly.
  • Stir in milk and vanilla extract until a dough forms.
  • Roll out the dough into a rectangle on a floured surface.
  • Cut the dough into triangles.
  • Place chocolate chips at the base of each triangle.
  • Roll the triangles from the base to the top to form croissants.
  • Place croissants on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Brush with egg wash and bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
