Ingredients

  • 2 cups whole milk
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/4 cup cornstarch
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter

Instructions

  • In a medium saucepan, whisk together the sugar, cocoa powder, cornstarch, and salt.
  • Gradually add the milk while whisking to combine the dry ingredients.
