Ingredients

  • 1 lb chicken breast cut into strips
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • Vegetable oil for frying

Instructions

  • Marinate the chicken strips in buttermilk for at least 30 minutes.
  • Mix flour, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  • Heat oil in a deep skillet over medium heat.
  • Remove chicken from buttermilk and dredge in the flour mixture.
  • Carefully place chicken strips in the hot oil in batches.
  • Fry for 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  • Transfer cooked chicken tenders to a paper towel-lined plate.
  • Repeat until all chicken strips are cooked.
  • Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauces.
