Ingredients

  • 2 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 4 slices of ham
  • 4 slices of Swiss cheese
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 eggs beaten
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Pound the chicken breasts to about 1/2 inch thickness.
  • Season both sides of the chicken with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
  • Layer ham and cheese on each chicken breast.
  • Roll the chicken tightly and secure with toothpicks.
  • Dredge the rolls in flour, dip in beaten eggs, and coat with breadcrumbs.
  • Sear the rolls in olive oil until golden brown.
  • Transfer the rolls to a baking dish and bake for 20 minutes.
  • Ensure the chicken is cooked through before serving.
  • Let rest before slicing to retain juices.
