Roll out the puff pastry on a floured surface.
Cut the pastry into squares.
In a bowl, mix cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
Place a dollop of the cheese mixture in the center of each pastry square.
Fold the corners of the pastry over the filling.
Brush the tops with beaten egg for a golden finish.
Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
Remove from oven and let cool slightly.
Garnish with fresh berries and a dusting of powdered sugar.
