Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef 80/20 blend
  • 4 slices cheddar cheese
  • 4 burger buns
  • Lettuce leaves
  • Sliced tomatoes
  • Sliced onions
  • Pickles
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: ketchup mustard, or mayonnaise

Instructions

  • Preheat your grill or skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Shape the ground beef into four equal patties and season with salt and pepper.
  • Place the patties on the grill and cook for about 4-5 minutes.
  • Flip the patties and place a slice of cheese on each one.
  • Cook for another 4-5 minutes, until the cheese is melted.
  • Toast the burger buns on the grill for 1-2 minutes.
  • Assemble the burger with the patty on the bottom bun.
  • Add lettuce, tomato, onions, and pickles.
  • Spread condiments on the top bun and place it over the assembled burger.
  • Serve immediately and enjoy!
