Ingredients

  • 1 medium head cauliflower riced
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese shredded
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese optional

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  • Remove leaves and stem from the cauliflower and cut into florets.
  • Steam the florets for about 5 minutes until tender.
  • Drain and cool the cauliflower, then rice it using a food processor.
  • Squeeze out excess moisture using a clean kitchen towel.
  • Mix riced cauliflower, mozzarella, egg, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  • Spread the mixture onto a parchment-lined baking sheet to form a crust.
  • Bake for 15 minutes until golden brown.
  • Add desired toppings and bake for another 10 minutes.
  • Remove from oven and let cool slightly before slicing.
