Ingredients

  • 1 large green cabbage
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Fresh herbs parsley, thyme, or dill for garnish

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Remove the outer leaves of the cabbage and slice it into 1-inch thick steaks.
  • Arrange the cabbage steaks on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Drizzle olive oil over each steak.
  • Season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
  • Use a brush to evenly coat the steaks with oil and seasonings.
  • Roast in the oven for 25-30 minutes until golden brown and tender.
  • Flip the steaks halfway through for even cooking.
  • Once done, remove from the oven and let cool slightly.
  • Garnish with fresh herbs before serving.
