Ingredients

  • 2 cups ketchup
  • 1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Gather all ingredients: ketchup, apple cider vinegar, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
  • In a medium saucepan, combine 2 cups of ketchup with 1/2 cup of apple cider vinegar.
  • Add 1/4 cup of brown sugar and stir until dissolved.
  • Mix in 2 tablespoons of Worcestershire sauce and 1 tablespoon of mustard.
  • Sprinkle in 1 teaspoon of garlic powder and 1 teaspoon of onion powder.
  • Add 1 teaspoon of smoked paprika for a depth of flavor.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Bring the mixture to a simmer over medium heat, stirring occasionally.
  • Once simmering, reduce heat to low and let it cook for 20 minutes.
  • Remove from heat and let cool before serving or storing.
