Ingredients

  • 4 bone-in pork chops
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh thyme optional

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Pat the pork chops dry with paper towels.
  • Mix olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  • Rub the spice mixture over both sides of each pork chop.
  • Heat a large oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Add the pork chops and sear for 3-4 minutes on each side.
  • Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven.
  • Bake for 15-20 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C).
  • Remove from the oven and let rest for 5 minutes.
  • Garnish with fresh thyme before serving.
