Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • ½ teaspoon nutmeg
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ½ cup sugar
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 medium apples peeled and diced
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Powdered sugar for dusting

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a large bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, salt, and sugar.
  • In another bowl, combine milk, eggs, and vanilla extract.
  • Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  • Gently fold in the diced apples.
  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Using a spoon, drop batter onto the baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
  • Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown.
  • Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes.
  • Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
